Are you an experienced Senior Manager or Director with a proven track record in Business Advisory Services, looking to take the next step in your career? This mid-tier firm has a unique succession planning opportunity, with a clear pathway to a Partnership role.
About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you will be trained as the successor to a Senior Partner who has built a thriving practice over three decades. You will inherit a high-value client base consisting of high net worth individuals, families, and private and listed businesses. Your role will be to continue building on this success, providing exceptional advisory services, and nurturing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of top-tier clients, including top 250 private family groups and medium to large family and international businesses.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of professionals, overseeing work allocation, job reviews, and mentorship.
Strategic Advisory: Provide high-level tax, compliance, and business advisory services, covering areas such as income tax, state taxes, estate planning, succession planning, business valuation, and M&A.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions that meet client needs, and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
What We're Looking For:
- CA or CPA qualified.
- At least 10 years of Business Advisory experience, primarily within an Australian public accounting firm, and a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge, with experience supporting both listed and unlisted companies.
- Polished and professional, with the gravitas to engage and build trust with high-profile clients from day one.
- Demonstrated history of leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
