About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you'll lead a small team and oversee the financial operations of a growing, fast-paced business. This hands-on role will involve driving continuous improvement, managing digital transformation initiatives, and supporting the business as it evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small finance team.
- Manage month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and inventory management.
- Supervise outsourced payroll preparation.
- Improve and streamline finance policies and processes.
- Drive digital transformation and automation projects.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
About You
You're a CA/CPA-qualified finance professional with experience in retail, FMCG, or a franchisee model. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively with a team. You're commercially astute, hands-on, and passionate about driving improvements and leading change.
Key Requirements
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Strong technical accounting experience.
- Retail or FMCG experience (essential).
- Exposure to franchisee models (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
