The position:
Partnering with the CFO and other leaders of the business, you will be supported by your small team as you manage and oversee the financial aspects of the business. You will guide the business, review, and manage financial policies focussing on continuous improvement and change. If you have a love for digital transformation and change, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small finance team.
- Oversee accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the team for an efficient month-end close.
- Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives.
- Partner with divisional heads to provide financial insights and support.
- Streamline finance policies and processes for continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Proven leadership and team mentoring experience.
- Experience in digital transformation and finance automation tools.
- Retail or FMCG experience (essential).
- Exposure to franchise models (highly regarded).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced finance manager with the ability to work in a demanding and complex environment. You will be commercially astute, hands-on, practical and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Having experience within retail is essential and will guarantee your success in this position. You should love what you do and hold yourself to very high standards.
